Admitted to the Festival shall be only the videos sent in DVD Form, together with the technical credits available on the website www.cortolandria.it  or www.comune.andria.ba.it. The participation to the competition is free and open to anyone wishing to participate.

Submitted videos can be created with the use of any possible film-making technique and with the use of any equipment available

Admitted to the Contest shall be only the videos sent in DVD PAL format in double copies.
Submitted videos should be accompanied by the following information:
Film’s  title, Director’s  full name, running time and production’s year

The Festival’s Organizer will take care of the arrived works. The Festival’s Organizer does not accept liability for any damage or loss caused  during the carriage.

Submission of films is tantamount with expressing consent that these films might be freely used by the Festivals’s Organizer in relation with Cortolandria festival, on the web tv  (www.epicentrotv.it e www.youtube.com/cortolandria) Festival’s Organizer reserves the right to publish submitted films on websites, TV or in any other form. Films shall be stored in a video materials database of the Festival’s Organizer and might be subsequently used after the end of the Cortolandria festival in the partner television broadcasting.

Each of the submitted DVD must not contain more than 1 film, it is possible to participate to the other sections of the festival sending the film in double copy together with the technical credits.The submitted films shall be competing with each other in the categories of the Festival, he must be in double copies together with the technical credits.

The deadline for submission of video materials passes on 25th January 2010 ((the postal office stamp gives
validation of date when  the application is mailed.) Films should be sent directly to the following address: Concorso Cortolandria c/o Estroweb Srl Via Benedetto Croce 2/A 70026 Modugno (Ba) The DVD must be sent together to the following declaration:“OF NO COMMERCIAL VALUE FOR CULTURAL PURPOSES ONLY”
Admitted to the Festival shall be only the videos sent in DVD Form, together with the technical credits filled and signed available on the website www.cortolandria.it  o www.comune.andria.ba.it or on demand to the email address: info@cortolandria.it , the short films without the technical credits won’t be admitted and shall not be returned back
Pursuant to the legislative decree no. 196/2003 Data Protection Code, the Festival’s Organizer declares that the data processing is indispensable for the purposes of this application form and for purposes connected with the performance of the Festival  activities. With the signature on the Application Form the participants permit the use of their personal data for the purposes related to this application form and in compliance with the above mentioned legal regulations. According to D. Lgs. no.196/2003 Data Protection Code each participant has a right to inspect their personal data and amend them if needed  through a register letter sent to the Festival’s Organizer.

Pursuant to the legislation  on copyright and the rules and regulations on intellectual property, the Festival’s Organizer consider the short films exempt from any artistic property right as well as the works do not violate a third person’s intellectual property right
The short films’ Authors  guarantee  the Festival’s Organizer against any action that could be practiced against them by the party entitled .The Festival’s Organizer cannot be held liable in any manner for dispute of any kind.

The Festival’s Organizer hereby informs Participants that their personal data will be stored and processed by the Organizers on the basis of participants’ freely expressed consent, only in connection with implementation of the Festival’s updating and news. The personal Data will not send to third person, according to D.lgs. 196/03 and the right of personal data tutelage.

The winner shall be informed in advance about the prizegiving.  The prizes will not send through a  traditional post service, therefore the winner must be present during the prizegiving. The prizes ungiven within the year will be add to the equipment of the second edition of the competition.
Participation to the Festival is tantamount with expressing consent  of these Terms and Conditions.
